Gareth Sanashee will be out of action until 2011 after confirmation that he has ruptured his Cruciate Knee Ligament
This is devastating news for the 17 year old Defender/Midfielder who had been offered to play for Didcot Town in pre-season having impressed in a number of fixtures for them.
Club Physio Kelly Chambers said "I feared this would be the case as soon as I assessed Gareths knee for the first time and although it has taken a few weeks it has now been confirmed. These injuries can put you out for a long time, even longer than a Break such as Aaron Ramseys but its vital that after surgery we get the Rehab right and im sure we'll have him back playing again during next season"
Tristan Lewis said "We all feel for Gareth. You do not usually associate these injuries with young players but Gareth is a bright lad and strong character so im sure he'll come back fitter and stronger!"
