After another weeks break we return to action with a tricky league fixture away against 4th placed Faringdon. Faringdon are a consistentley good North Berks side who finished 6th last season and will provide another stern test for us.
Last time out we had a resounding 10-1 win against a very poor Benson Lions side and we know that we are going to really have to step up our game to compete this week. The stop start month of October has seen us slip to 4th from bottom with a couple of games in hand on most of the teams around us. We have lost the services of Garry Clark who has opted to again leave us and try his luck with bottom of the table Harwell International. We have also lost Richard Eyres who has decided to go and join lower league Benson as he was struggling to break into the team here. This week we are also still missing Hilly and Mikey through longer term injuries, though we do see the return of Matt Leach to the squad of 14 as follows -

Players are meeting at The Hithercroft at 12.15, aiming to arrive in Faringdon for 1pm.
Please note due to the clocks going back last weekend the kick off times for league matches will now be 2pm. Faringdon play at Tucker Park, Park Road, Faringdon. Once on Park Road, parking can be found opposite the entrance to Tucker's Park in the Second2None and Old Dairy Carparks.
Please come along Saturday to support the lads in what I am sure will be a cracking fixture!
See you Saturday - Chris Allum
