This Tuesday (12/08/08) we travel to Drayton who also play in North Berks Division 1 in the final group game of the festival cup. Drayton finished fourth in Division 1 last season and are likely to provide our biggest test so far in the festival cup.
We don't want to dwell on Saturdays defeat to Didcot Casuals too much and all I will say on the matter is that on the day we were beaten by the better team who wanted to win considerably more than us. We are going to find a number of teams who will come to The Hithercroft this season and raise there game as we are a club who have come down from a higher standard and have facilities and pitch that can only want teams to raise their game against us. We have a number of absentees for Tuesday night and the one's that are there are all going to have to raise their games as Drayton is a notriously difficult place to go to and get a result. Squad for the game is as follows -
Chris
Allum
Lee
Edmonds
Richard
Eyres
Mikey
Fellows
Carl
Fisher
Tom
Hammond
Anthony
Hill
Nathan
Hill
Matthew

We are kicking off at Drayton at 6.30pm and players are meeting at The Hithercroft for 5.15pm or at Drayton for 5.45pm.
It would be good to see our supporters making the fairly short journey over to Drayton to cheer us on!
