Wallingford capitulated against fellow strugglers Fairford after a promising first half performance.
Gill opened the scoring for the visitors after Wallingford failed to clear their lines. Early in the second half however new signing Lee Keyes equalised after a goalmouth scramble, and the home side looked good. However, not long after, the visitors retook the lead when Bennett was allowed to run clear to make it 2-1. Poor defending then allowed Gill to poke home his second from a tight angle, while Snook scored rubbed salt in Wallingford's wounds with a cracker off the post from the edge of the area.. With ten minutes remaining, a mistake from Evans allowed Snook an open goal to make it 5-1.
