A late Ben Williams hatrick denied 10-man Wallingford after they had led for most of the game through Jefferson Harriott's spectaular strike.
The visitors rode their luck early on, Bicester hitting the woodwork on several occasions. Sam Houlihan hit the post twice in the opening minutes as Wallingford always looked vunerable on the counter attack, and former Wallingford midfielder Andrew Styles' looping header bounced off the crossbar from Paul Spittle's corner. However, Wallingford showed their recent improvement with some confident attacks, and Jordan Weaver went close on a couple of occasions before the visitors took a shock lead. Weaver flicked on Lambert's pass and Jefferson Harriott swivveled on the edge of the box and hit a screamer with his right foot, dipping in off the crossbar and giving keeper Tom McNamara no chance.
Wallingford held firm to lead at half-time and continued to frustrate Bicester in the second half. Styles went close again from another corner when a lucky ricochet fell to him five yards out, but he poked the ball just over the bar. On 70 minutes disaster struck for Wallingford when defender Brad Chalmers was sensationally shown a straight red for dissent. Bicester eventually began to break down and stretch Wallingford's weakened and tired defence. Following a goalmouth scramble, the visitors couldn't clear the ball and Williams poked home the equaliser from five yards out. With ten minutes left, Williams then gave Bicester the lead, receiving the ball wide on the left, cutting inside Lambert and beating an exposed Craig Evans inside his near post. Late on, Williams completed his hatrick when he squeezed the ball home from a tight angle at the third attempt.
