Ground Regulations PDF Print E-mail

Entry to the Ground is expressly subject to acceptance by the visitor of these Ground Regulations and the rules and regulations of FIFA, UEFA, The Football Association, The County F.A. and The Hellenic League in respect of the relevant competition. Entry to the Ground shall constitute acceptance of the Ground Regulations.

Explanation of Terms

  • Ground means this football ground and all locations owned, occupied or utilised by the Club
  • Club means this football club
  • Match means any association football match taking place at the Ground.

Regulations

  1. AFC Wallingford reserves the right to refuse admission to the Ground at any time

  2. Matches cannot be guaranteed to take place on any particular day or at any particular time and AFC Wallingford reserves the right to change advertised matches without notice and without liability.

  3. No money will be refunded or tickets exchanged if the match has to be abandoned due to circumstances outside the control of AFC Wallingford

  4. Should a match be postponed, any tickets issued for the match will be valid for any date on which the match is rearranged

  5. The following are offences under the Football (Offences) Act 1991 and are strictly forbidden. Conviction could result in a Banning Order.

    • The throwing of any object within the Ground without lawful authority or excuse
    • The use of foul or abusive language, obscene chanting or racial abuse towards any person
    • Unauthorised entry onto the field of play except in an emergency

  6. The following are offences under the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985 and are strictly forbidden. Conviction could result in a Banning Order.

    • Attempting to enter the Ground or being inside the Ground whilst drunk
    • Being in possession of any intoxicating liquor when entering the Ground or in a public area of the Ground from which the match can be directly viewed
    • Being in possession of any bottle, can or other portable container which could cause damage or personal injury, when entering the Ground or in a public area of the Ground from which the match can be directly viewed

  7. The climbing onto or into, stands or other buildings and facilities in the ground is forbidden

  8. Fireworks, flares, airhorns, smoke canisters, bottles, glasses, cans, large flags or flagsticks, banners, poles and other similar articles or containers, including any of which could or might be used as a weapon, are not permitted within the ground or buildings. Any person in possession of such an article or container may be refused entry or be ejected

  9. Any person, who fails to comply with instructions from a Steward or other person acting for AFC Wallingford may be ejected from the ground

  10. Any person who continues to stand in an area of the ground where standing is not permitted may be ejected from the ground

  11. Any person found damaging or defacing the property of AFC Wallingford, Wallingford Sports Trust, or Wallingford Sports and Social Club will be prosecuted

  12. The following are not permitted without the express permission of AFC Wallingford:

    • The taking of photographs, video-photography, or other recordings inside the buildings or the ground, other than for private use
    • Offering programmes, newspapers, periodicals or any other articles for sale within the ground
    • Charity or other collections of any kind

  13. All persons entering the ground are admitted only subject to the above Rules and Regulations. Entry to the ground shall be deemed constitute unqualified acceptance of all the above Rules and Regulations

  14. AFC Wallingford reserves the right to remove from the ground any person who does not comply with the above Rules and Regulations, or whose presence in the ground is, or could reasonably be construed as, constituting a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to other spectators

  15. All persons entering the ground do so at their own risk
