'Direct Sports Supplementary Trophy' Semi Final 1st Leg
Driver scored after 3 minutes when Wallingford failed to clear the ball. Donati then gave the visitors a two goal cushion when he headed home unmarked from a corner. Garry Clark made a brilliant save from Donati after seventy minutes to effectively keep Wallingford in the tie.
With just a few minutes remaining the tie was turned on its head when Ross Tyler found Aaron Baker making a run through the right channel who squared the ball to substitute Zinzee Taha who poked the ball inside the near post to make it 2-1.
Then in injury time Wallingford made it all square.
Holyport cleared their lines from a corner, but Taha found Simon Barlow who, after making a good run back into the area, squared the ball for Aaron Baker who then turned and struck a great left foot shot which the keeper could only parry into the air. Andrew Styles then popped up in the center to head the ball into the empty net, sparking celebrations and relief from the Wallingford players and spectators.
Wallingford now travel to Holyport for the second leg on Saturday
